SENIOR SERVICES ASSISTANT (**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**HRS PER WEEK)
Raheen Community Development Group CLG is looking for an energetic and
experienced SENIOR SERVICES ASSISTANT to join our team. The Senior
Services Assistant will work closely with the Senior Services
Co-Ordinator and ARC Family Resource Centre manager to deliver on
agreed areas of work in the Day Centre Service for Raheen Community
Development Group. Raheen Day Centre offers older members of the
community a social outlet and place to meet in friendly and warm
surroundings. The aim of the project is to enhance older people’s
wellbeing and to encourage independent living for as long as possible
within their own community.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE
* Experience working with older and aging people, preferably in a
similar environment.
* The most important thing to consider for this role is your
attitude. Day centre carers must be passionate about helping people
and enjoy providing companionship.
DETAILS OF THE POST:
* Supporting the preparation of light refreshments and serving food
to participants
* Supporting and organising activities for participants
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic setting
* Supporting the maintenance of records and other paperwork as
required
SALARY: Dependant on experience
HOURS: *hrs per week
DAYS OF WORK: Mondays and Wednesdays
